The following set of criteria is designed to give us information about your experience and skills in a variety of areas. Spring Break Y-Trip leaders will receive 50% off their personal Y-Trip fee as appreciation for their leadership.

If you previously served as a EMU Spring Break Y-Trip leader, which trip(s) did you lead?
If you previously participated in the EMU cross-cultural program, where did you go?
Also, when did you go on the EMU cross-cultural?
If you previously participated in an international mission and/or service trip, where did you go and what did you do?
Do you have experience living internationally? If yes, where and for how long?
What, if any, experience do you have with facilitated learning for a group?
Which Spring Y-Trip do you have the most interest in leading/co-leading?
Have you had past contact with the agency in the city / region to which you want to go and / or with a person that could serve as our contact with the agency? If yes, please explain.
Do you have strong organizational and planning skills?
Please list organizations in which you have been involved as part of the leadership team.
Do you have strong time and money management skills?
If yes, give examples.
Have you led / facilitated group reflection sessions?
If yes, what are your preferred approaches?
For what reasons do you want to lead a Spring Break Y-Trip?
An honest evaluation of your strengths and weaknesses will help us determine what areas to emphasize in our training / orientation. How would you describe your strengths and weaknesses? What aspects of leading a Y-Trip most concern you?
In what ways does wanting to lead a Y-Trip connect with your faith journey?
